Jaws

Jaws is situated north from Kanaha on the North Shore of Maui. It is often described as the biggest and most radical wave in the world. Board surfers first attempted to ride it in the 1970's but it remained virtually unridden until the elite of windsurfing began riding it in the 1980's. The incredible power of the 10 meter waves has kept the crowds from Jaws but its excellent form and tubes attract the world's most accomplished windsurfers.
